The reason that I choose to discuss the chosen advertisement is due to the fact that as a society we are materialistic and choose to believe what the media want us too. We do whatever it takes to have the best car, house, job, and even significant other. The claim that this advertisement makes is that by buying a certain product, in this case a cologne, it will help to improve your odds of getting the girl of your dreams. This advertisement states a claim of fact. It supports this claim by showing a male in the embrace of a beautiful female. The consumer is led to believe that the reason for the embrace is because the male is wearing Giorgio Armani Code. As we all know by now, getting the dream girl takes a lot more than wearing the right cologne.
